@GregJKrieg when I was a grad student at UVa, classes were called off after an overnight snow. By 9 am, the snow had melted, the sun had come out, and undergrads were playing frisbee on the Lawn.
@jeffalanmiller I'll play devil's advocate. I see a value in peer review in keeping some flawed work from swelling the volume of essays and books one must plow through.
