The market is flooded with fake alcohol, aflatoxin laden cereals, industrial sugars,fake cooking oil and we still want to boast how SHA covers 2 dialysis per week and kidney transplant!!!
UHC starts with preventive health.We can not feed our people poison then smile that we gave them milk to dilute the poison!!

What’s mediocre about Oburu?

He is an elected senator.

He has been an MP for more than 20 years.

He has been a councillor (now called an MCA).

He has also served as an EALA MP.

He graduated with a PhD in Economics from Russia in 1970, at a time when even secondary school leavers were considered highly educated. Back then, Kenya possibly had fewer than 50 doctorate holders. Gikonyo Kiano was the first in 1950s.

Even today, out of a population of 55 million, fewer than 10,000 people have earned a doctorate. Isn't that less than 0.01%? It clearly isn’t for every Tom, Dick, and Edwin.

Oburu has served as an Assistant Minister for Finance and also held a senior position in the Ministry of Planning.

He is also a successful businessman, with a net worth of over 500 million (away from the multi-billion estate).

He is two years older than Rayila, meaning if he is too old, then Rayila too, was.

Homabay Governor @gladyswanga’s appointment as the National Chairman was approved by the NGC. Others are Vice Chairpersons Dr. Ariko Namoit and Dr. @OAmollo. Kisumu Woman Rep @RuthOdinga42 and Kisumu West MP Rosa Buyu had their appointments as Dep. Org. Sec. and Sec. of Political Affairs respectively. They assume office subject to ratification by the National Delegates Convention (NDC). Congratulations to the new leaders.
