This is the most vulnerable piece I've ever shared, but I'm doing it in case it helps others. Divorce is hard, especially between parents. My son & I have such a sacred relationship, and we always will. Dropping him off once each week to have his new second home is, well, brutal. But parents have the spiritual obligation to grow, to keep becoming, so our children can learn what love is. My boy will always have his safe world with Dad. And long after I'm gone, he can carry that home in his heart.
