Got the Moderna booster this AM. πͺ
Grateful for all the incredible people who made this life-protecting vaccine possible.
Thankful for scientists who developed it, the HCWs who go to work every day for their patients, & educators who instill a love of learning in young minds.
@theshellbelle@CNviolations I feel like that one is not a crazy question...there's situations where Alaska/Hawaii get treated differently than the lower 48 (e.g. reward flights for domestic travel) & I've received "Welcome to Canada" texts when I'm near the border.
@RetireThe7@FranmilsEyebrow In the Lofton/Vizquel era, I loved having a great hitter 3rd who could count on one of those two regularly being on first or second and ready to run.
@RetireThe7@FranmilsEyebrow My take: "Best hitter 3rd" was good advice when 1st spoken, and for a long time after, but in an era where slugging and launch angle are favored over contact and speed, it devalues the 3rd slot because the premise of "bat in the fast contact guy in front of you" is less relevant.
@FranmilsEyebrow With Kwan hitting directly in front of him, you're maximizing the chances that the guy who leads the team in HR and 2B is hitting with a man on base.
@megynkelly What a strange argument to say that because the people who are trying to fix the problem are being successfully blocked by the people who aren't, it's the people trying to fix the problem who are to blame.
Probably the best thing you'll see today.
In 2017, a group of developers hilariously competed for who could create worst volume control interface in the world.

@karnsies817 That's just not true. It can turn out terribly for Cleveland & still change the market for contracts in ways people don't want to see. Any QB w/ recent top 10 production is going to benchmark to DW's deal & point out they don't come with dozens of SA accusations or years of rust
@emilykmay Caveat: terrible twos are easier than advertised, 3 & 4 harder than advertised with respect to your kid's attitude. Parenting becomes less physical work, more emotional work. At 4 they can feed themselves, use BR themselves, and give an opinion of your cooking themselves.
@emilykmay Encouragement from a dad of 7 & 4 y/o is to know the hardest work of parenting (so far) is first 4 years & work gets incrementally easier from 2-4 as they sleep more reliably & get self sufficient in lots of little ways.
It gets better & you're almost out of the hardest part IMO
