25 years ago, a wide-eyed 18-year-old walked into Moat HQ for a three-week work experience. Never could I have imagined it would lead to a quarter-century journey, inc a decade as part of the senior leadership team.

Our first meeting was a success! 🙌 We held a workshop to develop our co-creation principles, started to develop our scrutiny programme for 2025 and set our forward plan for the forthcoming meetings. A brilliant, brilliant start! We have just the best residents!
It’s been a year since @tpasengland came in to deliver their ‘Re-energising Engagement’ programme with us, 6 months since we launched our new Customer Influence Strategy and today, we held our first customer-led strategic group - the Impact and Action Group!
It’s been five years since I had the absolute pleasure of taking five @moathomes ‘stars’ on a trip to Tanzania where they helped build an assembly hall for a school run by the British charity @ChildrenOfChoba. (A THREAD, 1/8)
I’m so proud of the important role Moat has played in their success (when Moat turned 50, we raised £10k+). Now the school gives every pupil a substantial meal each day, for many of these children that was the sole meal they received each day). 7/8
