@DisRightsUK Talk about gas chamber fear. Saying it’s devastating” making it be that it’s only for disabled people creates false fear. It’s for terminally ill people at end of life. Has Switzerland killed off its disabled people? No. assisted dying is a good thing.
Why is it that train companies will notify non disabled passengers publicly on delay compensation, yet train companies don’t notify disabled passengers on their compensation rights if they experience an access fail eg broken down lifts that cause more delay.
#DisabiltyRights
@flowergirl_lon Definitely, they've said they'll respond with in 20 days, it's now 16days, they say they have a "high demand".
". They
had taken me off a train to put me on a train (to avoid the broken down lifts) which still went to a platform without working lift.
@stomababe It’s not completely inaccessible, although a trip to London does involve a lot more planning compared to a non disabled person visiting London. It’s not the best and definitely accessibility needs more consideration
If Labour expect disabled people or “the long term sick” to find work, they will need to change perceptions of disability and raise accessibility standards.
If it’s not cars then it is these e scooters that keep on causing inaccessibility on a daily basis by being left blocking pavements. It’s getting ridiculous now @voitechnology#InaccessibleTowns#Wellingborough
@MikScarlet Definitely not accessible, carpet feels like wheeling through quick sand, weatherspoon bars are good for having pride in their individual carpets while not realising how inaccessible their carpets actually are.
