Informed about a bit of soldiering, a bit of healthcare, a bit of training and development. Opinionated on most other things, curious about everything.
@BootneckStuff There was an epic flash in 40 Cdo Officers mess in 1999. Rule were clarified that the sooon had to be heated in a wet. No lifted with a cloth from the electric hot plate.
Flesh stuck to spoon.
@LittleMacMonkey@gohenry @gethin53502729 Hey @littlemacmonkey - we gave up, cancelled go-Henry and added kite spaces to Starling cards. They work brilliantly & are free (!)
359 years and still hoofing.
For 359 years the #RoyalMarines have stood ready to answer the call. To protect our nation, maintaining our place at the pinnacle of UK defence.
We stand united. Ready to fight wherever we're needed. Happy birthday, Royals.

@stu_taylor173 @Wo1JimWright I will always remember Dave. And remember powerfully standing in the hollow square at Bastion. I didn’t know you did the knock. It’s a terrible thing to do. I know you will have done it well.
Today is #WorldSuicidePreventionDay.

🇦🇫 On this dark anniversary, we do well to remember the sacrifices of the soldiers and officers of the Afghan Republic that fell on this day, two years ago.
At least 70.000 of them gave their lives for a free Afghanistan, and they kept doing so after everyone else had given up
When I quit Royal Marines training, it was (the then) Major Charlie Hopson who convinced me to stay the course. Well worth a couple of quid to sponsor a great bloke, and a great cause. The best you is within you.
In 2010 when I was medically discharged from the military Charlie Hobson (who at the time was CEO of The Royal Marines Association) gave me a job. My only other options according to a recruitment agency were labourer on a building site or check out assistant in a supermarket, both great jobs but not ones that lit my fire or I felt I could put my heart and soul into.
After his time at the RMA & various other jobs Charlie then started working for Rock 2 Recovery UK who many of you know are an incredible organisation that have helped and saved thousands of lives within the Veteran & Emergency Services Community.
Well after decades of helping and supporting others Charlie is finally retiring and I’m doing what I can to help him walk off into the sunset to spend time with his family.
Before he goes he wants to do one more fundraiser to try and raise as much money as possible for Rock2Recovery so they can continue to do the incredible work that they do.
Please take a minute to watch this video and see what we’re doing and then if you can please hit the link below to donate towards Charlie’s final hurrah.
