I know what you mean about meeting your ex out on common ground after a divorce/separation, it was like that with my ex-wife a few years ago but we have healed and now it is like meeting an old friend. I think it is easier that both of us don’t have new partners.
Proud mum though seeing your daughter graduate, now, hopefully, on to great things in her career.👌👩‍🎓😊

@nkh12349 Loads of places in the city centre, then you need to go to Sefton Park/Lark Lane for a walk and drink(very bohemian/hippy). And also get train out to Waterloo to see the iron men on Crosby beach.
