Hiked to the top of Mt. Tom Tower in Litchfield at 1,325 feet! The tower sits on the summit of Mt. Tom inside Mt. Tom State Park. The view at the top spans the towns of Washington, Morris, and Litchfield. 06/12

Got to check out Topsmead State Forest in Litchfield on Monday! The property was the former summer residence of Edith Morton Chase, daughter of Henry Sabin Chase, first president of the Chase Brass & Copper Company. The 1924 Tudor-revival style cottage is stunning and the grounds are well manicured. A perfect spot for a summer picnic. (Photos taken 06/08/26)
