Pearl was an exceptional colleague and fabulous person -- dedicated, effective, perceptive, principled and hilarious. She was taken from us far too early.

Hi Steven. While at Western, with some students we put together just what you may be looking for. It is a website -- no installation needed: https://t.co/X4Lx2DOXCh . Just agree on a room id, and start. (Working on version 2 now.) #InkChatApp
Is there an easy way for two people in separate locations to write on the same virtual paper or blackboard? Like this: I write on my tablet. You write on yours. Everything we write shows up on both our tablets. Possible? I would want this for remote office hours & collaborations.
Excellent point. Some time ago, when I was connected to @DescartesSG, to achieve a corporate turn around, we had to "fire" certain customers to focus on key objectives. 27% CAGR over the many years since!
1/ Saying NO and building Generational companies: @ShopifyPlus is a 🚀. As we close 2019 there are a ton of hypergrowth metrics I could share, but the one which I think says the most is this - In 2019 Plus said NO to 10 multi-billion dollar, IR 100 companies who wanted to migrate
My term as Waterloo Dean of Math runs to June 30, but for personal reasons I must turn to other things a bit sooner. It has been an honour to contribute to @WaterlooMath -- so many great people and great things happening!! Continuing as Waterloo Prof of CS as of Jan 21.
#UWOW19 wrapped up this weekend. It's a time of year when lots of excitement is in the air with new beginnings. We were there to capture some of the fun.
We are pleased to announce that Raouf Boutaba and Srinivasan Keshav have both been named Fellows of the Royal Society of Canada. Congratulations to all of the #UWaterloo researchers! https://t.co/OfSjm5uvt7

These young mathematicians will be heading off to the #IMO2019 next week! 👏 The Canadian and Mexican National teams have spent the last few weeks with the @uWaterloo_CEMC for final training. https://t.co/oOheaMpSN9 @CDMXOMM@canmathsociety
@SchwartzPJ@sgwoods Room-nights, rides or goods, the pattern of disintermediation, blowing open the market to minimally vetted participants and taking a cut of all transactions is the same. Old intermediaries accrued liability--sharing/market actors must be clear that lower cost => caveat emptor.
It's begun!!! Math Team Canada has landed in Waterloo along with Math Team Mexico. We've already witnessed a goose fight. #imo2019#mathteamcanada https://t.co/OhoIeB3F3u
These are lovely spots -- have visited only three of them. Can think of some others to add for historical or technical visuals, e.g. the Bodleian, the British Library, the NYPL Schwarzman Building or the NCSU Hunt Library with its bookBot https://t.co/LIQMaJI5kE . #librarylife
