Yes because before the first Nigerian got here, you couldn't walk down Dorset St for pretty blondes in miniskirts doing Irish dancing.
I was once caught in a traffic jam for 2hrs on Amien St because 3 stunners doing The Siege of Ennis had blocked the entrance to Connolly Station
Irish Racists : “They’re not integrating into society, they exclude themselves”

Irish racists “this is not the ireland i knew”
These racists are just bitter lowlifes ! Nothing much.
Congratulations king. Best of luck !

@monstrevin@simonomalley3@thejournal_ie@20C You have the invention of the men’s shed which works in urban areas but it has failed to take off in many rural communities (from what I have seen). I think a lot of auld lads would be feared of change and would just prefer to sit at the bar counter with a pint in front of them.
@simonomalley3@monstrevin@thejournal_ie@20C Yeah but the supply is there, in Ireland there is no shortage of Guinness. The demand is not bigger than the supply so how is supply and demand your reasoning for the hike in price?
@simonomalley3@monstrevin@thejournal_ie@20C Yes 100%, it’s all to do with the minimum wage. Minimum Wage goes up->Profits go down->Price of pint goes up->Profits back to normal.
Happens every year it’s no coincidence.
Started working in a bar in 2021 Guinness was 4.20 it will soon be 5.40 before the end of February.
@simonomalley3@monstrevin@thejournal_ie@20C Supply & Demand is a load of rubbish. Diageo and Heineken are basically pushing publicans towards the edge. The rural Irish Pub is a social hub, soon it will be luxury that will be unaffordable for many.
@simonomalley3@monstrevin@thejournal_ie@20C It’s not the fact that people won’t be able to afford the extra 20c across the counter but that this is becoming a yearly and sometimes twice a year occurrence. It’s going to end up that nobody will drink in the local but will just use the cheaper option and drink at home.
