Comp House has for many years been without any real policing of the individuals setting up companies. This is now set to change and here: https://t.co/hAbMvA2gMv are set out out new laws for verifying the identity of directors and PSCs (both current and new).
Directors Loan Accounts are straightforward (one would think) but there are risks - it isnt tax free income the loan itself is subject to tax and there are time limits to be aware of. https://t.co/dkteA6j5x4 is the government's guide which may help an unwary director.
Directors beware - for a lot of directors the only error they commit is failing to make decisions or act quickly enough. Here : https://t.co/T6iy0GAUYI I discuss the more common circumstances where directors could be personally subject to a claim. Francis Wilks & Jones
Unpaid taxes and Directors/their companies. Here https://t.co/kcGDOAR32z my colleague Andy Lynch discusses in some detail the types of claim you/your clients may face for not addressing HMRC claims early. Francis Wilks & Jones

Director disqualification is one of the biggest penalties that a director of an insolvent company can face - recovery is difficult unless you seek leave from the Courts. Many #BBLs have led to disqualification -see here our previous blog on the subject: https://t.co/RGqzjDQgK2
@Tech_Analyst_UK @CWUPostmasters the post office should be wound up in the public interest following s447 investigation-why does monetary loss have to be the only measure of the public interest? Surely protection of the innocent should fall within this definition & rank higher?
Social Media influencers have long boasted about their wealth, money or activities but the visibilities of what they were earning has long been ignored. Here my colleague @andylynch
@BBCNews@katierazz I recall @MarcusRashford standing up against the government for more free school meals and this was supported by bbc yet when it comes to asylum seekers and @GaryLineker ‘s complaints he is suspended. Are we this insular and differentiate between british and non-british groups?
@RestIsPolitics I think it is a fact that if we have a bbc which has presenters held out as moral or upstanding leaders of our nation, they should not restrict their opinion or seek to restrict their views to ‘bbc policy’. This is more reminiscent to me of the 1950s soviet union…
@BBCNews - I supported the bbc despite very ltd broadcasting but @GaryLineker had right to make historical comparison which reporting also supported! Consistency eh? other news agencies are taking the quality ground bbc used to occupy - if @MOTDMatchOfTheD goes there is nil left
@Peston Not my favourite person and don’t agree with keep going back for independence until you get a yes, but you have to respect her as a strong politician who stood by her beliefs. Not many of those left and they are what we need.
@Autism@ChrisGPackham@BBCTwo Great show & great to see how these voices can be heard. Shame child mental health services in cardiff cant identify such kids - my youngest after 3 schools and yrs of difficult behaviour and identified by school couldn’t get help. guess we just live in wrong place
@MSNBC The issue is the failure to get an audit - which Trump should reasonably have known would have been suspiscious. The reference to tax loopholes is a matter of art - until soneone independant reviews them you cannot tell whether they are legitimate or not.
@BBCNews made me laugh addressing need for removal of class discrimination by interviewing a lawyer at weil gotshal which is sooo middle class @bbcnews just ticks the box and is so ironic
