My trading profits this past week may not seem like much to some but the fact that I have been able to make profits during the craziest week of my entire life just shows how far my trading has come.

Not only did we bury my grandmother yesterday but my little sister just went into labor with my new nephew.

Complete circle of life 💙

I’m just feeling completely overjoyed and blessed in life right now.

Mom is home from the hospital! 🙌

It’s a miracle. I went to on bed last week thinking I had lost my mom forever so having her already home is such a blessing.

My memaw passed away on Friday so the funeral is today.

This past week has been the hardest week of my entire life.

Trading has been the last thing on my mind. But I’ll be back later this week and ready to get after it!

On Tuesday night, I found my mother barely breathing and then watched her start turning blue in front of my eyes.

The nurse in me kicked into gear when I couldn’t find a pulse. I performed CPR until help arrived.

She is still intubated this morning but is following commands!

Doctors say they don’t see why neurologically, she won’t have a full recovery. As a neuro trauma nurse, that was my biggest fear.

I need prayers today that we can get this breathing tube out and onto recovery 🙏

Today I have taken my dog to get a haircut, ran 4 miles and now going golfing.

Took a trade this morning, what I thought I was seeing just wasn’t there so sold for like $100 profit.

Last week took a heavy loss. In the past, this would be the week I would be over trading to make back the loss.

Not this time. I’m going to make this market beg for my money.

Hopefully this is growth in the right direction. Posting this to keep me accountable. We shall see….

I haven’t posted in forever but just an update if anyone out there cares….

I still haven’t given up on trading. June officially marked the 2 year point.

I’m in that phase where trading is an obsession for me but doesn’t feel like it because now it is just routine.

I’m at the point where I don’t care about making money. I care about protecting capital and staying disciplined to my system.

Trading is hard but it has taught me many things about myself. Some good, some bad. The important part is that I continue to learn and grow daily.

So here’s to year 3….

I just have to keep my head down and keep grinding. I’m going to make it in trading and this will all be worth it one day 🙏
