@ProducerDrew_ We just used our 12th overall pick to draft Command who's projected at best our 3c for the future. So i'm not sure if they are actively looking to anything more than a placeholder for that position in the meantime. Or else i just don't get the reasoning
@CatsandCanes@tmatthewshockey Don't be so disingenuous. Boldy was a 12th overall pick. Minnesota traded Rossi (9th) + Buium (12th) + Ohgren (19th) + the 24th overall this year.
@Shadow590@papiblez Well Guerin managed to trade for Quinn out of the blues without a single media reporting they were even rumoured to be a team going after him. That's with another team involved. Imagine how tight lip he can be when the player is on his team already
@JespersBurner@Adumbs_Bananas One vs one without context it doesn't make sense no. But in practice if you have to pick between Knies at 7.5m (plus another 7.5m to spend on another player) or Robertson at 15m. It's not that dumb to pick Knies and the extra money.
@DevilsInsiders Bill G knew Quinn wanted to get traded to play with his brothers. He didn't have a NTC. He swooped in and traded for him. That's a risk he decided to take and inserted himself. So i hope Quinn doesn't feel like he has to re-sign just cause they spent a lot on him. Thats on Guerin
@c_note1984 if you did any research instead of blindly pushing your agenda cause it felt good and virtuous in the moment then you youd know the jersey devil is a local folk mythical creature from Pine Barrens in South Jersey. More comparable to Bigfoot or Mothman than to Satan.. lol
@papiblez They are both left shot dmen who play the left side though. Not ideal partners. BUT... then why did Bill Guerin try to trade for Luke this season then? (as reported by Michael Russo) if that's not ideal for Luke to be blocked by Quinn
@ChrisBottaNHL Haha NJ fan here. Have you followed Lou through his career? The man only makes win-now"moves no matter how realistic winning can be and never for the long-term or whats best for the franchise. He completely ran the Devils into the ground with his way of running things. Good luck.
@MikeBartner On the one hand, teams are always helping the Rangers get out of trouble. On the other hand, Lou is terrible at this. He also cost the Leafs a FIRST round pick (20th oa) to get rid of Marleau's contract. So it's both extremes in this case
