If you don’t decide how you’re going to live, circumstances will decide for you. You’ll see every problem, and how it’s not going to work out. But the Scripture says, “Joy comes in the morning.” Every morning, God sends a fresh supply of joy. Receive it.
The disappointment may not go away, but you can change its position. You can put it under your feet. Keep your heart pure. Keep honoring God and He said He’ll turn it into a footstool. A footstool is not just something to rest your feet on; it can be something to take you higher.

David said, “You will prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.” He didn’t say my enemies are going to go away. Their presence may still be there, but their power is gone. They don’t control you. They don’t dictate your joy, stop your purpose, take your passion. They are under your feet.

Did you know that many of us have unknowingly made a deal with the devil??
In this video, Fr. Dan Reehil a renowned exorcist explains what happens after making a deal with the devil.
God being for you is more than what’s trying to stop you. Whatever enemies are coming against you today, you need to have a picture of them under your feet. Addiction is under your feet. Sickness and cancer are under your feet. Fear is your footstool.
Taking matters into your own hands, trying to prove to people who you are, that’s not the way to deal with enemies. You’re letting the hurt, the bitterness reign. The Scripture says, “Sit at My right hand until I make your enemies a footstool.” Sitting means you’re at peace, you’re trusting God to fight your battles, you know He’s going to make it up to you.
Paul said in Philippians 4, “Be anxious for nothing.” We cannot be anxious over uncertainty about the future, anxious about the economy, anxious over this medical report, over the trouble at work. He goes on to tell us, “But in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God.”
Every person has wounds, but not every person holds on to the pain. Which one are you: wounded and bitter, or wounded and free? Wounded and upset or wounded and being a blessing, being good to others, still fulfilling your purpose?
God didn’t create anyone average. He didn’t make anyone ordinary. He calls you a masterpiece. He put greatness in you. There is potential on the inside that you have not yet tapped into. There are gifts and talents that haven’t developed yet.
Happiness doesn’t automatically happen. It’s a choice we have to make. You can’t wait to see what kind of day it’s going to be; you have to decide what kind of day it’s going to be.
When it comes to our thought life, sometimes we’re undisciplined. We let any thought in. We end up living worried, insecure, troubled. You’re responsible in your career, your parenting, your health. Be responsible in your thought life. Quit giving space to thoughts that are limiting you and causing you to live worried, afraid, on edge.
