@furmsies I look to the future and think man, how are kids gonna make it. I made 22$/hr in Ontario working for a municipality. Bought a house for 165k. Gas under 1.00$. Now, same house is 600k, pay at that job is 28$/hr, gas over 2.00$ lol. Ur starter home is 400k. With 10-100k school debt
@furmsies Canada as a fallen state. Its infiltrated and incompetent. When you have a province like Alberta that has the people, resources, and values to go alone and enough people are serious about it, why not? Canada was always divided in 2, red and blue, nowadays its divided even more.
@furmsies Our home town is hardly recognizable from 2010. Homeless everywhere and youre the minority in a field of incompetent new comers who are given tons of handouts in the form of cash and opportunity. No problem with immigration but you have to do it properly.
@furmsies I moved to Ab 4 years ago. Worked in the oil sector as a 20yo, went back to Ontario with a boat load of cash (no options in ON). Covid took my wife n Iโs careers so we liquidated and headed west. We have kids. AB is night and day from ON for affordability and quality of life.
