I mostly follow avid readers (reviewers, booktubers, bloggers and bookstagrammers) and also writers (of Fantasy). It's because I want to use Twitter to talk about reading and writing Fantasy, so please don't be offended if I fail to follow some other nice people back.
The Yarnsworld is a great fantasy series leaning heavily in the direction of fairytales. I have read all the previous ones and will definitely get this one too.
@HiuGregg One of my favourite quotes is from an obscure Swedish role-playing nerd group. "Var det på låtsas?! Nej det var bara på riktigt." Translates to "Was it pretend?! No worries, it was only for real."
@J_A_Duncan I just don't get the resentment against wearing a mask! Isn't shutting down most forms of communal life, which is the inevitable consequence of people refusing masks, way more intrusive in our daily lives???
@ShahTheWanderer Or maybe the rules were different back then? Icelandic sagas start something like, "There was a farmer called Bjorn Geilsson. His father was Geil son of Ambjorn who took land at Atnafall. His mother was Righild daughter of Svein Wexold." Boring for us but apparently not to them🙂
@BlogSpells We all have our own personal distractions. Me, I usually try to build myself out of stress (really contra productive, I know) since I enjoy tinkering.
-Hmm, shouldn't my daughter have a wooden car for her teddy bears? And all those shoes in the hallway need another shelf, no?
@TreyStoneAuthor After having followed your tweets for a while (with enjoyment) I feel I know you well enough to say,
-Just ask your wife.
She'll straighten you out, I'm sure.
