1/ Horrifying photos are being circulated, corroborating the Arakan Army's massacres of hundreds of #Rohingya in Thang Shout Kan (Hoyasiri) in May 2024. This reveals only a part of the atrocities over a year later. Now, Rohingya are facing total elimination in #Rakhine State.
Social media has been flooded with video footage showing a group of armed men speaking the Rakhine language, some of whom are wearing uniforms that appear to belong to the Arakan Army (AA).
The video’s content is deeply disturbing and graphic.
It shows prisoners, believed to be soldiers of the Myanmar military, being slaughtered and buried alive.
Consider the horrors faced by the Rohingya. In 2024 alone, the AA killed at least 2,500 Rohingya in Buthidaung and Maungdaw Townships.
If you’d like to watch it, please DM me. Please note that it contains highly graphic content.

Rohingya commemorate the 7th Genocide Remembrance Day in the CXB camp. “Justice has not yet been served for 1st wave of genocide committed by the junta in 2017, while the 2nd wave of genocide is unfolding against the Rohingya, with #AA responsible for that,” says a participant.
