Looking for common sense in an uncommon world. Feel free to DM if you're in NC, but don't ask for money or ask me to invest. Otherwise, I'm happy to chat.
Watching the speech given by Zorhan Mamdami @NYCMayor , I was reminded of a South Park comedy sketch. Foreigners standing there, looking confused, holding MY AMERICAN FLAG.
Zorhan couldn't wait to mention that America has the world's first trillionaire. Thanks for noticing. His name is Elon Musk @elonmusk and he's actually from the continent of Africa - SAME AS YOU. Elon is proud to be an American. You, Zorhan, are not.
Zorhan has contributed NOTHING to build, manage, or augment this Great Nation. Never had a job. Never managed employees. Never ran a budget, or filled out a W2. Nothing. Just another community organizer like Obama. Another apologist for "American Exceptionalism." I don't apologize for a damn thing. AMERICA IS EXCEPTIONAL. WE'RE JUST BETTER.
Elon came to this Country with nothing but the lint in his pockets. He built businesses. He has employed hundreds of thousands of people - paying high salaries and offering great benefits. Don't hate, congratulate.
Additionally, I am a REAL BLACK AMERICAN. My family has been here for generations - we are NOT immigrants. Actually, black folks across this Nation are sick of being lectured to by foreigners who come here and get lavish benefits, when you've given NOTHING.
Make no mistake, Kwame. Tomorrow is MY 250TH BIRTHDAY. My husband served this Country and died saving it. I will NOT be lectured to by a Ugandan citizen who came to MY COUNTRY for refuge. Our "capitalist money" gave Uganda foreign aid for years. Stop using the "immigrants need more acceptance" bullshit. We're over it. Read the damn room.

🚨 MAYOR MAMDANI’S 250TH “SPEECH” GOES DOWN IN FLAMES — WHAT A TOTAL BOMB!
While President Trump lights up Mount Rushmore with fireworks, B-52s, and pure American pride, NYC’s socialist mayor Zohran Mamdani tries to upstage him and delivers the most boring, dark, lifeless dud of the day.
Awkward lighting, random immigrants standing behind him like props, beard guy just sitting there scolding America, calling us racist, and pushing his twisted “patriotism” of endless complaining. Felt like a Dependence Day speech, not Independence!
This 35-year-old Ugandan immigrant with zero real job experience and rich parents lectures 250 years of American greatness?
Bro, calm down. No one’s scared of your communism. We love this country, we celebrate its wins, and we’re not tearing it down!
Trump brings the energy and the fireworks. Mamdani brings the hate and the snooze. What a contrast on America’s big day!
A German fan said it best:
“If you want to hate America, watch the news. If you want to love America, drive through it.”
Over 3.6 million fans packed stadiums for the World Cup, breaking attendance records. Millions came from every corner of the globe and experienced what the headlines never show: welcoming people, incredible hospitality, and a country unlike any other.
The media sells outrage. America sells itself.

Stand tall and protect the legacy of the builders.
History is a teacher, not an enemy.
A nation is built by human beings.
Human beings are inherently flawed.
They make mistakes but they also build empires.
Tearing down statues does not erase the past.
It only proves a fear of facing it honestly.
True strength lies in remembering the whole story.
We learn from the flaws of our ancestors.
We build upon their incredible achievements.
We do not rewrite history just to feel safe.
Stand tall and protect the legacy of the builders.
This non-American gets it more than some Americans do 🇺🇸
“When I say the US is the best country in the world, I mean it… You can get ANYTHING here. Patriotic people, endless activities, and in ONE country you can hit NYC skyscrapers, Utah deserts, Colorado mountains, Florida beaches — without crossing a single border. Insane. I wish I was born here.”
America: Land of unmatched freedom, opportunity and variety. The greatest experiment in human history. Never apologize for loving her.
Who else is obsessed with this beautiful Republic? 🔥

My Generation Is Blind to the Prosperity Around Us!
I'm sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis (Florida) trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of presidential candidates calling for policies to "fix" the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around.
I see people talking freely, working on their MacBook's, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we've become completely blind to it.
Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose. These things are so ingrained in our American way of life we don't give them a second thought.
We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Thirty One Times!!!
Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. Yet, in a time where we can order a product off Amazon with one click and have it at our doorstep the next day, we are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful. ??
Our unappreciation is evident as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said to Newsweek talking about the millennial generation, "An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity."
Never saw American prosperity! Let that sink in.
When I first read that statement, I thought to myself, that was quite literally the most entitled and factually illiterate thing I've ever heard in my 26 years on this earth. Many young people agree with her, which is entirely misguided.
My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative to actually believe we have never seen prosperity. I know this first hand, I went to college, let's just say I didn't have the popular opinion, but I digress.
Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that I can even see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country.
People around the world destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they've never seen prosperity, and as a result, we elect some politicians who are dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism.
Why? The answer is this,?? my generation has only seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn't live in the great depression, or live through two world wars, the Korean War, The Vietnam War or we didn't see the rise and fall of socialism and communism.
We don't know what it's like to live without the internet, without cars, without smartphones. We don't have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it's spreading like a plague."
Elon Musk is not stealing from you.
Gavin Newsom is stealing from you.
Karen Bass is stealing from you.
Tim Walz is stealing from you.
Elizabeth Warren is stealing from you.
AOC is stealing from you.
Becoming wealthy does not make you evil.
The people who take from you, promising to fix problems and then enriching themselves while trying to get you to hate those they're taking the money from... are evil.
I'm beyond shocked that in Africa, @VP@KamalaHarris is lecturing about the protection and repression of journalists. She said, “I will state in unequivocal terms that we will not tolerate and condemn, in fact, repression of journalists”
The same administration discriminating against me and silencing me @WhiteHouse and the same place where the IRS visited journalist @mtaibbi the same day he testified about censorship, and the same government that has continued to destroy Julian Assange for reporting the truth is lecturing about press freedom and the repression of journalists. SHOCKING.
Every climate warning is aimed at harnessing maximum fear to extract money. Every time there is a hard deadline for the apocalypse. The deadline comes and goes. Then we get the next warning pushing the deadline a little farther out, to extract more money. The scam never ends!
We live in a unique time in history, where even the most actively oppressed minority, has access to the knowledge, skills, networks & mentors to transform their life from poverty to financial independence.
Collectively speaking, attitude is altitude.
I didn't discover my true soul purpose of teaching until I was 37. If you're undecided about what you want to do with your life, give yourself some grace. You don't have to have it all figured out overnight. I'm graduating with my degree this year at the age of 40.
Developing a morning routine was very helpful when I was new in recovery. I started a gratitude journal to write 5 things I’m grateful for every morning along with a daily recovery reading for inspiration and motivation.
