If 30 Christians had been massacred in a European village because of their faith, it would dominate the news for days. Yet when it happens in Nigeria, the world barely notices.

Reports say at least 28–30 people, including women and children, were murdered in Kaduna State after armed attackers stormed a Christian community in the early hours of this morning.

This isn't an isolated incident. I, personally, have been talking about this for over a decade.

Christian advocacy groups estimate that almost 10 Christians are killed every day in Nigeria.

The equivalent of 7/10 in Israel happens almost every single week, in Nigeria. Women butchered, gangraped, brutalised and kidnapped - their menfolk hacked to death.

Whether you're Christian or not, people should not be slaughtered because of their faith. The victims deserve the same outrage, the same media attention, and the same calls for justice as anyone else.

To save his own skin, Keir Starmer threatened his MPs with the loss of their jobs unless they helped cover up his misleading statements to Parliament. It is a disgrace that 333 Labour MPs chose to be complicit in that cover up.

It is very notable that the Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister would not repeat his boss’s exact claim that there “was no pressure whatsoever” from No10 on the appointment of Peter Mandelson, instead trying to 'clarify' what he had meant.

This is a government coming apart at the seams. They are more interested in their own survival than the cost of living crisis affecting hardworking families.

Labour MPs will rue the day that they voted against this motion, because it is the day that people saw they believe there’s one rule for Labour and another for everyone else.

The biggest con in UK politics was the idea of a “Zionist lobby” controlling Westminster.

In practice it generally meant people with pro-Western, democratic values. British values.

Values Islamists despise.

The myth wasn’t just antisemitic. It was also classic misdirection - encouraging people to search for an imaginary Zionist bogeyman while ignoring the real ideological pressures shaping parts of our politics and foreign policy.

Now it is visible.

Islamist political movements are forming openly on Britain’s streets. Government policy is shaped by the need to attract segments of the Muslim vote. We are even willing to destroy ties with our strongest allies - rather than upset those supporting Islamist ideologies.

The “Zionist lobby” was the distraction. The real political shift happened while nobody was looking.
