Just to be clear. These men have already been convicted of assault and ABH of two female officers and will be sentenced on June 26th.
This was a 3rd trial for the male officer.
It's the last minute of the World Cup final and #England get a corner. Other than Harry Kane, who else do you want in the box? Harry Maguire. Poor decision.
The most incredible thing about Southampton and spygate is that, still, so much energy has gone into "err this is unfair" rather than apologising to fans, arranging refunds and going cap in hand to to beg them to stick with the club. They have torched their entire reputation.
@AJKendrick@CazParker1871@EFL They've been found guilty of cheating (or cack-handed attempts at cheating), so anything else other than kicking them out of the final would have caused outrage. EFL right for once.
@sjmaple Great work. Another "minus" worth bearing in ind is that ST holders will no longer get the loyalty points on purchase. Only kicks in on attendance, so a disincentive to renew if you don't expect to attend all games.
@ohbobbins@TheTilehurstEnd@ReadingFC Agree. My point is that winning always beats losing/drawing, and it's naive to think otherwise. The seasons I remember always involved promotions or a cup. Don't fondly remember a single season where we finished nowhere but the "style" made it worthwhile.
@AnyGivenFriday1 Exactly. "No questions to be asked" - the other journalists present didn't have a problem thinking of something to ask. He's also taken to restricting replies to his posts. Just weird.
@ElmParkRoyals@BiscuitAnalytic The bottom line is the entire story is based on an agent who doesn’t think his client is playing enough as he wants. One player’s agent. Find another five and it’s worth the drama.
