JUST IN: One day after authorities confirmed the removal of a Chinese floating platform from Bajo de Masinloc or Scarborough Shoal, a new Chinese research vessel has been spotted in waters outside the shoal.

ABS-CBN News joined the Philippine Coast Guard’s maritime domain awareness flight in the West Philippine Sea on Thursday.

The PCG also monitored a Chinese research support vessel, two China Coast Guard ships, and three Chinese maritime militia vessels outside Bajo de Masinloc.
