@MartinSLewis I've just been charged with no warning by @eon_next for energy used last December because they estimated the readings (I have smart meters). I switched supplier in September and had a final bill from them at the start of October, then they "realised" I owed them £150!

@eon_next why does my payment need to increase when I'm £170 in credit and my last bill was lower than my current monthly payment (I'm on a fixed tariff)? I wonder what @MartinSLewis abdominal @MoneySavingExp would make of this?

@ttyEngland @MartinSLewis @eonnext I applied to move and foolishly assumed I would be on the 3% below price cap tariff. I don't remember being given the option to choose a tariff! I guess I thought it was obvious (and legally their responsibility) to put me on the cheapest?

@MartinSLewis I switched to @EonNext on your advice, but they've put me on a fixed tariff with penalties for leaving (even to their own tariffs). I'm now going to be paying more than the price cap!

##martinlewis I switched to EonNext on your advice but instead of the 3% below price cap tariff, they have put me on next fixed 12m rate that is equivalent to the price cap. Now that prices are falling I will be out of pocket, but there is a a penalty £150 per fuel to change!

@shell what is going on with the broadband service? Many complaints on social media in my area and mine keeps dropping Internet every 5 minutes for the last few days! Don't suppose I'll pay any less though! #timetoswitch
