PUBLIC NOTICE: ZERO TOLERANCE FOR ILLEGAL PESTICIDES
The Pest Control Products Board (PCPB) cautions all traders and the public that selling unregistered pest control products is a criminal offence.
PCPB remains steadfast in upholding compliance and taking decisive legal action against offenders to safeguard public health, food safety, and the environment.
Our North Rift Region Compliance & Enforcement Officers stationed at Eldoret International Airport, intercepted consignments of unregistered pest control products that were being smuggled into the country on 7th and 15th January 2026. The consignments, consisted of public health pesticides, specifically cockroach control products. Investigations are ongoing to bring the consignment owners to book.
The public is reminded that use of unregistered pest control products in our dwellings puts our health at risk. Ensure that you only purchase registered public health pest control products from certified outlets. Avoid purchasing them from hawkers and mali mali shops. Additionally, only engage the services of pest control operators (PCOs) who have been certified by PCPB. Always demand to see their certificate.
PCPB issues a stern warning to individuals and companies intending to smuggle pesticides into Kenya. The Board has strengthened its compliance and enforcement mechanisms at points of entry to prevent the entry of illegal pest control products into the country and will prosecute those who contravene the provisions of the Pest Control Products Act (CAP 346).
8-4-4 had challenges. But, it is proved that it was superior to any other system of education in the developing world.
CBC is a challenge. It is inferior to 8-4-4 and CHAOTIC.
CBC seems to be a poor copy of BNC with some random pickings from American system, a committee idea.
MP Kimani Ichung'wa responds to Governor Natembeya, Afrosinema part II continues; however everyone who watched the execerpts Ichungwa refers to knows Governor was addressing Bandits. The operations on Banditry. But to cherrypick for the public gallery is just amusing.
