🚨 BREAKING: Very bad news. The European Parliament and Member States just reached an agreement on introducing the Digital Identity, #eID.

Directly afterwards, #EU Commissioner Breton said: "Now that we have a Digital Identity Wallet, we have to put something in it...", suggesting a connection between #CBDC and eID.

They ignored all the privacy experts and security specialists. They're pushing it all through.

I am not optimistic. But it is not too late yet. Parliament still has to vote about this. Let your MEP know that you oppose the Digital Identity and that you want your MEP to vote against it!

A bank in Australia can now close an account if a customer makes offensive or discriminatory comments on social media."

The National Australia Bank (NAB) has set new criteria for excluding customers. From 1 November 2023, a bank can ban customers from using its services if they negatively impact another person's emotional well-being.

This includes customers who leave "offensive or discriminatory posts or comments" online or cause "mental harm" on social media. In addition, people who behave in a threatening or abusive way towards others may be excluded from the bank.

Imagine if Australia enshrined an advisory body in its constitution composed of activists who require a week of mourning to cope with a political defeat. They even go as far as flying flags at half-mast because they disagree with the outcomes of democracy.

Supposedly, the purpose of this advisory body was to represent the views of indigenous Australians, but their actions demonstrate how inadequately they would have represented the views of the community that voted against the referendum.
