I’m still stunned by all the clear gospel proclamation by government officials from the stage yesterday at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service. I imagine their motives for doing so will be questioned—“pandering to their base” and all that—but it remains that Jesus was lifted up…1/3

Jesus Christ descended from heaven to earth to live, suffer, die, and rise so that BOTH kinds of sinners could be saved. The Gospel is “The Third Way!” Jesus said it is the ONLY way.
Thank God we can ALL be saved if we repent and believe His Good News! (4/4)

We all naturally want to be our own Lord and Savior. But in the end neither of these two paths lead to God, true salvation, freedom, acceptance, significance, fulfillment, or eternal life. Striving for self-salvation will ultimately prove to be futile for everyone. (3/4)

The self-righteous Pharisees think they are already good enough for God bc in their minds they always follow the rules. Prodigals know they don’t measure up and stopped trying to keep the rules a long time ago (or yesterday). (2/4)
