Yes- the road of joy and play via physical literacy. Adults are too quick to want to label to justify their views/positions, etc.
Got to watch Jamaica live in France 4 years ago. Watching them "upset" France with a nil/nil draw was one of the most exciting sporting events I've experienced.
We are all so proud of you @allysonswaby10 and @chantelleswaby
Go Jamaica! Go West Hartford! Go @HallWHAthletics
With proud parents and long time friends celebrating their girls getting the start for #Jamaica getting the start bs #Brazil@FIFAWWC in Grenoble, France!
Happy Father's Day from 2-4-1 and the DICK's Sporting Goods Foundation - one of our many supporters! Please take advantage of the 20% off this weekend and get out there and play!!!
The only silver lining of a 2.5 hour delay at the Denver airport when I REALLY want to get home is that it looks like I’ll catch the first half of the @nuggets game!
Let’s go @UnitedAirlines_ and @nuggets with “Let’s go” meaning decidedly different things! 😀
watching Nomar Garciaparra’s feet, balance was a constant reminder of his soccer background, same with Jeff Bagwell clearing the bag and throwing across runners to second. Or Dustin Pedroia’s tennis/ping pong when he hit
We are so proud of this program, Kevin! And feel so blessed to have you at helm. Thank you for all you do including coordinating the amazing volunteers from @HartbeatTc - you all are positively impacting so many young lives!!
@GlennYoung_PE@aquaholic_bee Best coaches I played for were not great players (things didn't come naturally so they understood that in their players).
Brilliant mathematicians don't always make great math teachers (same reason as above).
Glenn's right-can they teach, connect with and care about kids. 👊
The more we move along this youth sport continuum, the more important I think a seamless focus on physical and emotional skills is the way to go.

We hope this is a model that others will find a way to emulate. #WalkTheTalk
We feel very confident that about our capacity to deliver quality programming, but if that programming is only available to those who can "afford" it - is it special or is it exclusive?
Excited to kick off this two day, Fall Break @241Sports camp tomorrow! What excites me most is the “pay what you can model” of this camp. To make true impact and change in youth sport we need to remove the financial barrier that often exists #LTAD#youthsport#physicalliteracy
Really appreciated this conversation today! A worthy watch when the recording comes out. So reassuring to know there are such good people working in this space and that this is an issue being deliberately addressed by coaches across the country.
REGISTER TODAY! Join @meganabartlett and our many friends on managing challenging behavior and how to leverage the power of sport to help build skills, better relationships, and promote healing. See you tomorrow! https://t.co/VKiv3x85Wv
I was a very young coach then, Ryan. You remind me (to remind coaches) that our relationships have lasting impact (good or bad). Knowing the leader you have become-and the lives you've impacted in the 30 years since-makes that reminder all the more poignant. Sincere thanks, mate.
