Woman Sexually Assaulted On West Midlands Train, Police Release CCTV Images Of Suspect.

The disturbing incident took place around 7.30pm on Monday, May 11 when the woman, travelling alone, was approached by an unknown man who attempted to chat her up.

When the woman made it clear she wasn’t interested, he became aggressive, persistently making unwanted physical contact, and then sexually assaulted her.

The attacker then got off the train at Cradley Heath railway station, leaving his victim traumatised.

Now, in a major development, British Transport Police have released images of the suspect who has a distinctive tattoo on his right arm with the slogan "Road to Riches", described by officers as highly distinctive and expected to be the key to identifying the suspect.

A BTP spokesperson said: "Anyone who recognises him is asked to text BTP on 61016, or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 588 of 11 May. Information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

All three pilots on BA’s Hyderabad to Heathrow flight reportedly fell ill with food poisoning after sharing breakfast in their hotel lounge during the stopover, along with bottled water from an outside vendor. One became incapacitated mid-flight and was put on oxygen at 30,000ft, while the other two worked through worsening symptoms on the ten-and-a-half-hour leg home, with one needing medical care on landing.

The famous different-meals rule covers what crews eat onboard, but a hotel breakfast is outside anyone’s control, which is exactly why BA says it’s now reviewing crew accommodation in Hyderabad. Union insiders are reportedly angry, claiming previous hygiene complaints about the hotel. BA’s line: “at no point was the safety of the flight compromised”, and the extra pilot on long-haul routes is precisely the redundancy that held.

All three filed safety reports and gave samples so doctors can trace the source.
