From my poem In Chains of Adamant
Pastures pale in silent pall
Beneath the howl so long in wait
January shadows stretch and stalk a gelid crust
As life slips silently beneath
Time ticks through dark halls
Drifting adagio
Past the watcher without name
I to slip silently beneath
@heymrsbond Great question! I’ve always enjoyed the Polanski adaptation as being both well directed and true to the text. The Orson Wells adaptation is also exceptional, more creative (thank you Orson) but perhaps not quite so true to the text
