Everyone says: 'This is awful. Govt, schools, teachers need to do more!'

My response: 'This is awful. Behaviour needs to change. Tolerance of violence and abuse can't continue to increase. Students can't be taught that things that aren't ok are ok until they are 18 and suddenly 'off you go'. More responsibility needs to be taught and taken by parents and students'

As a parent, I wouldn’t dream of going to a dr and telling them to run a hospital, and nor do I tell my son’s school what to do.

Why do parents feel they could ‘run’ things?

Do parents of #SEN children not realise that what works for their child might not work for all?
