I'm incredibly proud to have graduated with a postgraduate diploma in global football sport directorship from the @thepfabusiness It's been a demanding two years but forging relationships off the pitch has been a real joy. As a board member of the @PFA | strongly encourage players and ex-players to pursue further development. Stepping out of your comfort zone offers a completely different kind of satisfaction than simply winning football matches. A huge thank you to the teachers and students that have helped myself during this 2 year course. I'm now looking forward to learning more about the game and seeing how I can use this degree to support my career after playing.

After three years, the time has come to move on from QPR.

In my career, I have been fortunate to win promotions and enjoy successful campaigns in the Premier League. But ‘success’ is relative. And my time at Loftus Road really highlighted to me what fans want from you as their player. It isn’t always about winning leagues, achieving promotion. It’s about giving absolutely everything for their shirt, respecting the badge and respecting the fanbase.

If you do that, proper fans will have your back. I have always seen QPR as a proper football club with proper fans – my time at Loftus Road confirmed it.

It is far easier to be a fan when things are going well on the pitch. But it takes a special fanbase to stand with you during the hard times. We have had three tough battles at the wrong end of the table. On each occasion, the QPR fans turned up when we needed them, stood with us and successfully helped us across the line.

To be named Supporters’ Player of the Year in my first season is something I will always be proud of, and to captain the club was an honour.

As a player, you want to leave a club in a better state than when you arrived. I feel I achieved that with the help of all the coaches and team-mates I have worked with over the last three years.

As I move on to the next chapter of my career, I want to say a huge thank you to the owners, the board, the management, coaches, staff and the R’s fans.

It has been one hell of an adventure. We have had ups and downs but I have loved the journey.

QPR will always have a special place in my heart and I wish you nothing but success in the future.

Champions.

Final whistle at Gibbons Field… it is no longer a dream, no longer a pursuit—it is a declaration carved into history.

Westfield are champions of the Mid Sussex Football League.

No equations. No uncertainty.
With two games still to play… the title is already theirs.

Because where last season whispered heartbreak—so close, yet not enough—this season demanded conviction. And this time… they answered.

They did not falter.
They did not fade.
They finished it.
They seized it.

This is a team that has transformed “almost” into inevitability… a club that has taken the weight of yesterday and turned it into the triumph of today.
And this crown does not stand alone.
Sussex County Cup winners.
League champions.

And a Hastings Intermediate Cup final still to come…

A treble not yet complete—but already within reach, already written in the language of belief.
Now comes ascension.

Step 6 football returns—not as a dream chased, but as a place reclaimed.

From the anguish of last season… to the authority of this one.

From nearly men… to history makers.
Westfield are champions.

And this… may only be the beginning.

About our sponsor ! 🧔👨

Hastings local property management specialists covering Sussex, Kent, Surrey and the South East.

Francis Property & Estate Management Ltd, trading as FPE Management, is a family-run company with experience in property management administration and offices at the heart of Hastings in East Sussex. Our firm was established when we identified that all too often, property management companies failed to pay due care and attention to their clients’ requirements.

At FPE Management, therefore, our main point of difference from our competitors is in the value we place on high levels of customer service to all our own clients. We take time to get to know you, your property and your aspirations for your portfolio. This helps us tailor our wide range of services accordingly.

Locally Based, Targeted Services

Our other advantage comes from restricting our sphere of operation to the area and markets we know best: our services are limited to a 60 mile radius from Hastings, which includes West Sussex, Kent and South London areas. By not overreaching ourselves, we ensure our services are personal, prompt and bespoke to your requirements.

Our Credentials

For your peace of mind, we’re members of The Association of Residential Management Agents, the trade association for residential managing agents in England and Wales, which sets high standards for the management of leasehold properties and upholds professionalism in the field. We’re also members of the Property Ombudsman scheme, giving our clients the confidence that we are committed to Professional Standards in property management.

To find out more about the services we offer, call us on 01424 457750 or out-of-hours on 07842 435771.
