@vernalscott As someone who now works in a school and also as a youth worker all we can try a d do is educate our kids and support them. Some just aren't streetwise and are easily being groomed.

@vernalscott I've been stopped and searched on a number of occasions by Asian and white officers, some good and some bad. My worse was an Asian officer with a bad attitude, was he racist? NO he was just an idiot with a bad attitude. Let's teach our kids how to engage as much as the police

@vernalscott And then be blamed for not doing more. The police can't win if communities don't support them. I moved out of London because I didn't want my kids growing up in the same environment. I'm now in Essex and seeing the same problems being shipped out by London boroughs into Essex.

@metpoliceuk We need to get rid of the attempted murder sentencing, just because you fail to take a life shouldn't mean you get a lesser sentence. If found to carry a weapon it should be twenty years minimum and if you take a life you should be locked up for life.

@abbdesmond Having been there myself and having come through everything I had the semi colon tattoo which is the suicide awareness symbol. The two wings are my two friends that I lost to suicide. I purposely had it on my hand as I work in a school and also do youth work, it opens discussions

@Janietip @trishgreenhalgh When I had covid I'd tested negative for two days prior, don't rely on them 100% as it can take upto five days of contact for you to get a positive result, also look for the other symptoms not just the main three, I know people who have now shown symptoms and tested pos later.
