@MaloraHightower@ManuclearBomb Def feels like Cole was meant to have a bigger role in the Dance when GRRM conceived him for Feast, a baffling discrepancy between that passage and his arc in F&B. Same wrt Myles Smallwood and Ryam Redwyne being "disastrous" Hands when actually they just didn't like it and quit
@Neon4Blue@bittersteel196 Larra doesn't appear until years after the Dance ends. The show has no obligation to include her just so slack-jawed book purists can check something off their list.
@ManuclearBomb You could address this tweet to GRRM without changing a word. The fandom would still be terrible, but I'm sure him being so unreasonable and hostile toward both shows feels like permission from on high for a lot of people to be psychos about it.
Something really odd about Alex Garland's movies is that I walk away from every single one deeply confused about what he was trying to say, only to be then met with a vast crowd of people taking something away from them I could not in a thousand years imagining being correct
People only hate Elon Musk because he comes from an emerald mining fortune made in apartheid South Africa, he buys ideas and pretends he’s an inventor, he’s a white supremacist, union-busting, abusive employer, he’s hoarding $1T in stolen wages, he makes us ashamed to be human,
@RosaLuxembae Feels more like the opposite, the prequels should have been like 50 years earlier. Han doesn't even believe the Force exists when he meets Luke and Obi Wan. He would have been like 10 years old when the Jedi Council still existed.
@rockmarooned I really like Pitt as an actor, but this just screams image rehabilitation. "Tabloids won't shut up about how you hit your kids and they hate you? Play a troop who's best friends with a cute dog!"
