I doubt it will be long before a management provider is facing prosecution for an overall lack of diligence, knowledge or process where clear issues have been identified and not actioned or where non-certified providers are used and required works not identified correctly (4/4)

In the period since the introduction of the FSM & appreciations of what is now expected in respect of the residential market in both high and medium rise buildings I am seeing a trend developing in the “management provider” market to further postpone or defer works that... (1/4)

I am seeing non TPC assessments where scant regard is made to the high value works, be that doors and/or passive works as well as fire strategy planning and an appreciation of the need for the correct provision of systems be that AOV or Evacuation. (3/3)

After some discussions with the FIA they have finally signed off my BS 8629/207 presentation notes for CPD so it’s formally approved for hours and an informed document on the current situation post the issue of the FSB notes last month (1/2)

The use of battery equipment is only going to increase and so is the potential danger. The use of lithium batteries have specific requirements regarding both storage and disposal – it being a class 9 chemical unit and subject to segregation in HSG71. https://t.co/cH0OToGFTH
