Government, media, academia & social sciences have a self-selection bias that is left-leaning. As long as conservatives (and centrists) shun whose careers, there's only one way things can move. The only question is speed.

Corporate gives us safe spaces, the world gives us 𝑯𝙖𝒎𝙖𝒔. One reason so many companies are stumbling is they're built for @TedLasso , but operate in @blackmirror. And too many leaders are promising morality, when all they can deliver is moral relativism.
My latest article: The Morality Map for Leaders https://t.co/IrIh9hNKJt explores how leaders must navigate the three imperatives of business & reframe their tricky overlaps.

@SteveAustinWI@ideafaktory Steve, appreciate the feedback! I'm responding from my 2nd account b/c @ ideafaktory is literally blocked from comments/search/notifications👇 But your point is fair. I think in longer trends/patterns & use X to build them up for podcasts/clients. But I agree X isn't conducive.
"Revenge of the Crybullies"
Will be the title of a 2073 documentary about the fall of the West that began by stoking victimhood and weaponizing empathy, then ended with demoralized nations collapsing from within.

Hamas University
US universities have a brutal little secret. And now it's out for all to see.

This week's celebration of Bitcoin ETFs possibly being approved is a reminder of how far the narrative has drifted. It's no longer about subverting a corrupt financial system, but desperately relying on its acceptance to boost the value of your holdings.

Looks like my account has been ghost banned, adding to my longstanding shadowban.
Replies are detached, like this one: https://t.co/BeXJkpBa8d
Can't search my Tweets using a secondary account.
Think my abusive relationship w/Twitter is drawing to a close.
Anyone have a connection @X? My account is completely hosed. My replies are ghost banned - detached from the original post & invisible to others. My posts shadowbanned in search by non-followers. No notification, explanation, or anyone to contact.
Thanks!
'We can forgive [them] for killing our children. We cannot forgive themfor forcing us to kill their children. We will only have peace with [them] when they love their children more than they hate us...'

After listening to this interview with Jared kushner, I think there's something to be said for children of business people or other elites, like the Kennedys being groomed from youth into leadership roles or public service.
It doesn't always work out, but I certainly didn't grow up with this pedigree and had to learn everything myself.
This idea only falls apart in the isolationism of elites. Many have no clue how ungrounded their ideas are - and how poorly they relate to the masses.

@Support@premiumbusiness@X@elonmusk Can you please fix this? There is no reason for my account to be ghost banned or shadowbanned. Or let me know why it is and I'll fix it. Thank you
Gen Z's Corporate Insurrection
This Gen Z-er's anti-corporate work video is going viral.
She's not alone. Many from prior generations know how empty & pointless much of corporate work is, but felt they had no other choice. That's what college got us, so we sucked it up. I wrote extensively about it in Happiness Will Not Be Downloaded (https://t.co/pxDJgWdudN) & The Economics of Happiness (https://t.co/KQGwX0YoM9).
But it would be intellectually dishonest to focus on this youthful 'screw The Man' vibe that pops up every generation or two, without acknowledging gender & privilege differences.
While it's terrific & absolutely fair that women have the same opportunities as men, men have no way to opt out of the provider model. Our mating prospects & societal value is tethered to material achievement— and will forever be, regardless what we're sold. (See this HBR piece on why men pretend to work: https://t.co/sS5hMLitZk) That burden of providing for family, (though frequently shared or shirked), is ours to bear. This young woman could find such a provider, should she choose to. I can't.
Is Elton John single? I digress.
That brings me to my last point: privilege. I don't know her background or her backstops (family wealth), but outwardly, she exhibits a level of privilege a young woman exactly her age who is waitressing at a diner, cannot. Her attitude is a luxury good. I hope she enjoys it. But like all luxury goods, you can fill your house with them and still feel empty.
