The Northern Road Link is pleased to announce the approval of the Terms of Reference.
As part of the Ontario environmental process, the #ToR approval is the first step in the environmental assessment.

Today @fnmpc shared their work on socio-economic and partnership opportunities in First Nation communities.
Sustainable infrastructure and economic development is critical to building strong communities across the province.
https://t.co/i2uYacMozi and https://t.co/ZB4AOwa8Is The Sudbury Star has published my Ring of Fire year-end essay in two parts. "Northern Ontario’s Ring of Fire can save province’s auto sector" and "Ontario has moral obligation to develop Ring of Fire".
It was a full house at the @Empire_Club Ring of Fire Progress Update As @GeorgePirieMPP said, earning trust and doing the work responsibly is at the core of the path forward and that’s certainly the approach we are taking with the development of Eagle’s Nest in the Ring of Fire.
The @rofmetals proposed Eagle's Nest nickel-copper-platinum-palladium project is key for Ontario's plan for our #CricalMinerals Strategy and EV manufacturing. Projects like this in the #RingOfFire will provide opportunities for Indigenous & northern communities.

@fordnation@fordnation we look forward to working with you and your government to sustainably develop the Ring of Fire, in partnership with Indigenous communities, and build Ontario as a global powerhouse in the green energy transition.
Ontario has robust EA processes and we’re ready to work together to eliminate federal duplication. Faster approvals will make sure we don’t lose out on global investment in transformational critical mineral projects, like what we have in the Ring of Fire.

Eagle’s Nest, our proposed net-zero emissions Ni-Cu-Pt-Pd mine, will be key to delivering on Canada’s #CriticalMineralsStrategy with a 1km2 footprint, minimal impact to peatlands, tailings returned underground & ensuring First Nation communities are central in our mine planning.
The Ring of Fire is not a "one nickel mine" camp. There will be many more discoveries. Comparing it to the prolific Sudbury Basin is not hype! And don't forget the $117 billion worth of chromite. South Africa, the source of roughly half the world's chromite rather unstable!
Last week we had the privilege of hosting Marten Falls FN and Webequie FN at a ceremony to open a newly-constructed madogan (teepee) at our Esker site. The madogan sits proudly beside our three flags and we hope it is a welcoming place for our current and future team at Esker.
We are excited to announce that Webequie First Nation and Ring of Fire Metals signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) outlining a framework for collaboration on proposed development in the Ring of Fire. Read more here: https://t.co/vrUqwXaG2v
As part of our commitment to build a net zero emissions mine at Eagle’s Nest we’ve already begun two studies exploring the possible use of clean wind energy for power and mine tailings to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Read more here: https://t.co/xFDJFYU0so
Glad to join Premier @fordnation, Chief Achneepineskum & Chief Wabasse to announce the Terms of Reference submission for the proposed Northern Road Link Environmental Assessment. We’re committed to unlocking jobs & economic prosperity in the Ring of Fire. https://t.co/ATIhunMHCC
https://t.co/flVhmysrvM The electrifying world needs the nickel + lithium from Noront's Ring of Fire and Frontier Lithium's rich deposits. Roads need to be built. ENGO's are fighting to stop/delay them. Ont. gov. must educate the south about mining benefits, especially for FNs!
🚧 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙎𝙍 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢 is back for another series of 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘 streams starting TODAY. This time we'll be taking on the Federal Impact Assessment Process, its valued components and the tailored impact statement guidelines. We're going LIVE at 12:30PM https://t.co/vVAuWKLJm2
Ontario is taking steps to become a global leader for responsibly-sourced critical minerals. I am pleased to announce we are building Ontario’s first-ever Critical Minerals Strategy & releasing a discussion paper today for public consultation.
