Whatever sin has rendered us unclean, whatever shame has dirtied us, whatever evil has defiled us, Jesus fearlessly confronts it. He speaks his word of forgiveness and life into us, cleansing us with his blood (1 John 1:7). -Chad Bird
What prize did Jesus not have that he could only win if he came to earth and ran the race and went to the cross? What’s the answer? You and me. You are Jesus’ crown. You are Jesus’ glory. You are the most precious thing. -Tim Keller
Ps. 103 For as the skies R high above the earth,
so his loyal love towers over his faithful followers.
As far as the eastern horizon is from the west,

As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion…
That is the final purpose of his dying, not merely that we might be forgiven, or...saved from hell. Rather, it was that a new people might be formed, a new humanity, a new creation, and that a new kingdom be set up, consisting of people like Himself. – D.M. Lloyd-Jones
Acts 3:19 Therefore repent and turn back so that your sins may be wiped out…
The Greek word here translated “wiped out” means to wipe out, blot out, or obliterate. He has obliterated our sins on the cross!
Pray for revival. Renew your own commitment to living a life that honors Jesus. Walk away from sin. Love your neighbor. Forgive those who cheer death. Recognize this historical moment when change starts with the people of God. #WeAreCharlieKirk
Men are never duly touched and impressed with a conviction of their insignificance until they have contrasted themselves with the majesty of God. -John Calvin
“That baby who was born to Mary was more than just another man—He was God in human flesh. He came into the world for one reason: to make it possible for our sins to be forgiven so we could become part of God’s family forever.” #BillyGraham
