The first part of your driving test is the eyesight check, which you must pass to continue.
The eyesight test consists of reading a number plate from 20 metres, with glasses or contact lenses if you use them.
#PassYourDrivingTest#PassMyDrivingTest
‘Show me, tell me’ vehicle safety questions: You will be asked one ‘show me’ and one ‘tell me’ question during your #DrivingTest.
The first will be a ‘tell me’ question at the beginning of your test. The ‘show me’ question will be asked whilst you are actually driving
You will pass your test if you make less than 15 driving faults and if you make no dangerous/serious faults during your test.
#DrivingTest#PassYourDrivingTest
The dangerous practise of following too closely behind the vehicle in front of you is known as tailgating.
Not only is it dangerous, but you also risk antagonising the driver in front of you, potentially resulting in road rage.

Car insurance can be expensive when you’ve just passed your test.
✅ Using a black box will prove you’re a safe driver & reduce your costs overall

#UKmotorists drive the equivalent of Nottingham to Sydney every year! (Probably not the last 12 months!)
On average, we each drive about 8000 miles a year. School runs, weekend food shops and commutes add up to roughly the same distance as jetting (or #driving) off to Sydney!
Once you’ve passed your test, make sure to get insurance on the vehicle you’re going to be driving before actually driving it.
You may be excited and want to get on the road straight away but it is an offence to drive without valid insurance
#DrivingTips#DrivingInsurance
Take 15 minutes before your #DrivingLesson starts to get yourself calm and relaxed. Try not to do something which is likely to stress you our before you’ve even got in the car. Sit somewhere quiet and go over your own objectives for the lesson.
Always consider other road users and give them space
Be courteous on the road. You will be calmer & less likely to make poor decisions.
You never know how others will react, so it is always sensible to be courteous on the roads & give people space
