A Christian convention in the UK, which has been running for 150 years in a rather remote part of England, now has armed police surrounding it for protection. Protection from whom? We all know the answer, but I wonder whether any speaker addressed the elephant in the room.

Here’s the easiest way to understand the Arab–Israeli conflict.

In Egypt, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, Christian girls are kidnapped and forcibly converted to Islam.

By law, once that happens, they can’t return to Christianity, and they can’t marry a non-Muslim.

Thousands of such cases have been documented.

In Islam, it’s not only people who have religions, lands do too.

Christian lands were “converted” to Islam the same way those girls were: through force. And once that happens, the land can never go back.

If the “family” of that land, its original people, tries to reclaim it, it’s treated as apostasy. Because in Islam, once a land “marries” Islam, it belongs to it forever.

That’s the heart of the Arab–Israeli conflict: Israel is the land that refused to stay kidnapped.

1. Submitting to the tyranny of civil governments, which is in fact a form of idolatry.
2. Normalizing a violation of the fourth commandment in the Decalogue by shutting down churches.
3. Enabling backsliding by normalizing ‘virtual services’ and people being away from physical gatherings.
4. Idolizing physical health while neglecting the nurture of spiritual health.
5. Squandering opportunities to serve and minister to those who were sick, fearful, and dying by keeping churches closed.
6. Ridiculing and villainizing those who discerningly spoke the Truth against face masks, vaccines, lockdowns, and State tyranny.
7. Shaming and not supporting those who resisted tyranny and got into trouble for it.
