I for one, highly doubt that Arizona was part of a “bidding war,” for Milan, who is a great player, great shooter who plays the same position as Karchenkov, but is not as good a defender as Ivan, nor can he drive or rebound as well.
Would CTL bid more than $1 for a player who doesn’t fit the specific need for rebounding and defense?
Take it to the bank: NO.
Glad for him to land at KY and may he have a great season for the other Wildcats.
How was Arizona even in on this guy? Sure, kind of a bonus if they landed him, but once the price went above a $Million? 1. Arizona could never afford that 2. He would not have been a replacement for anything Arizona lost. ‘
Great player, fantastic shooter, but Arizona needs a PF not an extended 4 with a great shot.
I don’t get it. What real evidence exists the CTL was ever after this guy? He was always going to cost too much, didn’t fill the real need Arizona has anyway. Yeah, yeah great player, great shooter but not a banger, not a rebounder, not a CTL system player at all. Good for him that he landed where he can make some real cash, but he only makes sense if AZ didn’t already have someone his size playing the 3.
So someone come forward with a quote from CTL that verifies “yeah we chased this guy.”
@PHNX_Wildcats@DamonDawg@KevoPosts We don’t have any confirmation from any official source that Arizona was even pursuing him. He needed to go where he’s gonna get the most money and Kentucky wins the lottery, but I don’t think Arizona even tried to get him.
@PHNX_Wildcats@PHNX_Sports@DamonDawg@KevoPosts Did not fit well. AZ needs power forward not 3 pt specialist although I’m sure they could make it work, but he needs to go where he can get the most money he couldn’t get the most money in Arizona
@DontBroMeBro_ 56 degree, back in stance, off right foot, hands well ahead of ball, maintain that angle, let it run to the pin. No wrist cock other than pre set angle and no flipping.
The “bounce” is in the sole of the club. The more bounce, the lower the back edge of the sole than the leading edge. If you take your stance on a floor, the leading edge will not fit flush with the floor. The degree of bounce is measured as the difference between leading edge and back. You can also clearly see the difference by holding the hosel and looking at the face at eye level. Bounce helps you move smoothly through the sand without sticking the club into the ground or rough.
