Well, it's that time of year again and today marks 12 years since my brush with the Grim Reaper.

@SusieMGoss If somebody sits in a reserved seat and won't move the ticket collector will almost always ask and if they won't move then will say there's nothing they can do. I would and have moved to first class as my contract isn't being fulfilled. Did offer to move if he got my booked seats

Has anybody else had problems getting refunds for pre booked seats on @qatarairways flights that have been cancelled? Had to start going through a section 75 claim because they are not paying it back. Thank goodness I paid on my credit card and can hopefully sort it.

@OnlineChat55309 Apologies but Your company were excellent and I didn't realise it was you replying. Our issue lies with our agent @cruise1st who have clearly gone to ground. If you'd like feedback on Celebrity then please do get in touch as your staff were amazing

Others we met, who weren't so determined, or didn't have the legal knowledge, were not so fortunate. @cruise1st are an absolute shambles of a company and I would advise everyone to avoid them at all costs. No contact since our return to check we were OK either. DO NOT USE THEM

Just to warn people of the issues arising from travel through the Middle East and the lack of support we received from @cruise1st when our flights with @qatarairways were changed to include a return to a totally different airport to our departure one of Manchester

I obviously disputed this as they are the agent and it is their responsibility, under current legislation, which Iwas able to quote. Finally they agreed to pay an extra day's hotel and fly us, the next day, to Manchester after a hotel stay in Heathrow.

@kingkapoor72 Currently in Singapore and some shops display similar signs with no problem. What is it with the UK that people think it should be their way or no way? Good luck to this man and best wishes to his family

@AlibazMccormick @CruiseKings totally agree. There are still flights leaving the UK tomorrow yet you just abandon your customers. Disgraceful

Off to Hong Kong tomorrow, on a rearranged flight, to meet Celebrity Solstice. Others, who were due to meet up and enjoy excursions with us, have not been so lucky. The main culprits have been @CruiseKings and @iglucruise who I'd recommend avoiding in future as not helped at all.
