@cannedlakesand@RpsAgainstTrump No, it’s the Iranian women’s national team. They refused to sing the national anthem before their first (of three) game…hence the fear about what awaits them back in Iran.
@ghostly_bean@caribbeanpotter I’m hoping that Vic’s shoulder dislocation will put off some potential buyers from the Prem. Repeat dislocations are common….i know, I’ve had plenty! 😆
@peteoconn I think he’s been better in the central role than out wide. Active, rapid, and surprisingly good in the air…times his jumps well and wins headers. I’d leave him there. Rotating with Bozenik and Smit, and maybe we have some goals from the 9 position.
@northstokie Best decision making I’ve seen from him tbh….certainly better than when he plays out wide. Good game from him, Cisse and Boxat especially.
@stokie_stace Have to say I like Cisse up front. Pace in behind if we can find the right through ball, and he’s won his fair share of headers just by positioning himself well against the CBs. Not missing Gally or Divin really.
@stokecity Despite my frustrations with Junho, this game is crying out for him. Finally there’s space for him to operate and create in…. Get him on for Mubama and go back to 4-2-3-1.
@JonnyPotter87 Agree. I also find Junho frustrating. While he’s tidy on the ball, retains it and moves it well, there’s not much incisiveness. He gets into some good positions with the ball at his feet but the end product is lacking. Hoping that will come in time.
@stokie_stace I’m a bit more optimistic after this start, partly based on the results of the relegated teams with parachute payments. Seems like they’re not up for the fight. Play offs at least.
