#tbt - In January of 1989 the tradition began - Rick Mears was given the first "Baby Borg" for his 1988 #Indy500 win!

Prior to that a wooden plaque with a facade of the world famous @BorgTrophy was awarded to the race winner - a tradition that began following the 1936 "500" 🏆
