Uganda's participation in the Kes 106.3 billion Kenya Pipeline IPO is now sealed (see quoted tweet).

Days after the IPO's offer period was extended, Uganda's Energy Minister is in Nairobi "formalising" the country's participation through the Uganda National Oil Company.

Last week when the offer was extended, we saw a supplementary notice where the Articles of Association was adjusted to have Uganda's government granted rights to appoint at least 2 directors, provided it holds no less than 20.0% of the issued share capital.
