Enjoyed a great evening at the "Boots, Badges & Bling Annual Gala" celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. Great job by the HPD Organization of Spanish Speaking Officers and the Harris County Mexican American Sheriff's Organization who co-hosted this year's event. Visited with a lot of great people including our Republican Candidate for County Judge - Orlando Sanchez. #HarrisCounty #Pct4
VETERANS FOR AMERICA FIRST ENDORSES STEVE RADACK
Harris County is at a crossroads.
This is not the time for hesitation, political theater, or government that has forgotten its most basic responsibilities. Public safety matters. Flood control matters. Roads matter. Emergency preparedness matters. Fiscal discipline matters. And the families who built their lives in Harris County deserve a government that remembers exactly who it serves.
Veterans for America First proudly announces its endorsement of Steve Radack for Harris County Commissioner, Precinct 4.
Leadership is not measured by how loudly someone talks when things are easy. Leadership is measured when the pressure is on, the situation is difficult, and somebody has to step forward, take responsibility, and get the mission accomplished.
That is where experience matters.
Harris County cannot continue drifting away from the fundamentals that keep a community strong.
When crime threatens our neighborhoods, leadership matters.
When taxpayers question where their money is going, accountability matters.
When another storm moves toward the Gulf Coast and homes, businesses, veterans, seniors, and first responders are standing in its path, preparedness matters.
When roads deteriorate, drainage fails, and infrastructure falls behind the needs of a growing county, competence matters.
These are not abstract political arguments.
These are the things that determine whether a community succeeds or fails.
Veterans understand the meaning of a mission.
You assess the situation. You establish priorities. You protect your people. You use your resources wisely. You make difficult decisions. And above all, you accomplish the mission.
Harris County needs that mentality again.
Steve Radack brings decades of experience in law enforcement and county government to the table. Veterans for America First believes that experience matters at a time when Harris County faces serious decisions about public safety, infrastructure, flooding, emergency response, spending, and the future direction of our communities.
Houston has been tested before.
We have survived hurricanes. We have survived floods. We have rebuilt homes, businesses, churches, and neighborhoods. We have watched first responders run toward danger while ordinary Texans climbed into boats and trucks to rescue complete strangers.
That is Houston.
That is Harris County.
And that spirit is worth defending.
We refuse to accept decline as inevitable.
We refuse to believe dysfunction is the permanent price of government.
We refuse to lower the standard simply because people have become accustomed to expecting less.
Service demands something more.
Duty demands something more.
Leadership demands something more.
Veterans for America First believes Harris County can recover its footing, rebuild confidence in county government, strengthen its communities, prepare for the next disaster, support those who protect our streets, and return attention to the fundamental responsibilities of public service.
But recovery requires leadership willing to take responsibility for the mission.
No excuses.
No retreat from responsibility.
No surrendering our communities to decline.
Houston is worth defending.
Harris County is worth rebuilding.
Our families are worth protecting.
Our veterans are worth honoring.
Our first responders are worth supporting.
And our future is worth fighting for.
For those reasons, Veterans for America First proudly endorses Steve Radack for Harris County Commissioner, Precinct 4.
SERVICE. DISCIPLINE. ACCOUNTABILITY. IMPACT.
HARRIS COUNTY IS WORTH FIGHTING FOR.

I was honored to share the stage at the Cypress Republicans at NITE Meeting earlier this week with Commissioner Tom Ramsey - Pct. 3, Orlando Sanchez our Nominee for Harris County Judge, and Moderator, Lincoln Goodwin - J.P. Pct. 4-1.
Great dialogue about Harris County Government and how we must change the "tax and spend" attitude of Commissioners Court by electing our Republican Candidates. https://t.co/xFSToWxzi8

A big thank you to the Southwest Management District for hosting a great breakfast mixer this morning! It was wonderful connecting with community leaders, neighbors, and local businesses who are committed to making Southwest Houston an even better place to live, work, and grow. https://t.co/xFSToWxzi8 #Harris County #Pct4
Senator Lindsey Graham was a true American Patriot who represented his home state of South Carolina and the American people with dedication and with a clear understanding of the issues facing our great Country. His voice and strength will be missed. I wish the best to Darline Graham Nordone as she fills the huge void left by her brother, Senator Lindsey Graham, in the United States Senate.
Happy Independence Day! Today we celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. It is indeed a milestone and one for which each of us should be very proud. Let us celebrate our essential freedoms and the strong, faith-filled communities we’ve built together. Let us also take a moment to reflect on our nation's blessings, appreciate our neighbors, and defend the principles that keep us strong. Wishing everyone a safe, happy, and blessed 4th of July! https://t.co/xFSToWxzi8
