@HonoluluBlues_ This isn’t a shot at Goff. It’s a shot at the MNF coverage that ran a ridiculous animation of Jared and Caleb piloting a boat labeled #1 Overall Picks and then the boat crashes into a bridge with Keenum at the helm.

@shegone03 @MLB @RVGDag @AMBS_Kernan @SalMarinello Who knows more about Clark — you or AJ Hinch and his teammates? Hinch said: “Max is fitting in perfectly on a really good big-league team in his first major league spring training. Our guys love him. I think people are incredibly unfair when they can criticize with no merit."

@burchie_kid @dannierogers___ PS Get mom and dad to throw you a “half birthday” party on June 23rd so that you can celebrate with your friends during the warm weather. My folks did that for me and it was like having the best of both worlds.

[Stephen Rickard @SteveRickard56]

@burchie_kid @dannierogers___ From a lifelong Lions fan also born on December 23rd, welcome Annie to the Christmas-Eve Eve birthday club - a great day to be born! You rarely have school, you’re always with lots of family and people remember your bday who normally wouldn’t. ❤️ Welcome!

@jhsthethird @JimmyLiaoMD @EverythingxKing Absolutely right. Also Vikings fans.

[Stephen Rickard @SteveRickard56]

@JimmyLiaoMD That is a gruesome — but apparently legal — hit. And I haven’t heard a single Lions fan or player call out the player who ended Barnes’ season as “dirty” (much less “dirty AF”)

[Stephen Rickard @SteveRickard56]

@beyoncegarden Wow — that’s pretty wild

[Stephen Rickard @SteveRickard56]

Remembering just 2 weeks into Dan Campbell’s 1st year when fans hated Anzalone and Campbell defended him to the hilt for flying around — and CUT Jaime Collins for dogging it. Message sent - and look where we are now. @PrideOfDetroit @Lions

[JJ Watt @JJWatt]

Besides keeping his head up (which he absolutely should do, to protect himself), how would you propose he tackle a TE running full speed at him?

Shoulder is directly in thigh board.

Football is a violent game.
Not every hit is malicious.

(Also, don’t watch film of a cut block)

Joe Mixon had as many yards for Houston on his first two carries against Dallas tonight (46) as he had for the Texans entire game against the Lions defense. @PrideOfDetroit @Lions

*whispers* Penei Sewell OPOY

[Stephen Rickard @SteveRickard56]

Apparently Raymond was the first LION to accomplish this — not the first NFL player. That makes more sense!

[Stephen Rickard @SteveRickard56]

As I understand it, yesterday Khalif Raymond was the 1st NFL player in history with a punt return and receiving TD in the same game. The Steelers Calvin Austin did it again tonight. @Lions Incredible.

Happy birthday Jerry Jones….

@thelionswire I was 13 when the Lions open the 1970 season in Lambeau. Greg Landry ran a 76-yard quarterback sneak. Lem Barney had a pick-6. The Lions won 40-0. I was hooked on Honolulu blue for life. Greg Landry, RIP.

@robertmays and The Athletic’s Jourdan Rodrigue name the top 10 head NFL coaches in their June 11th podcast and they picked Dan Campbell #5 (Rodrigue) and #6 (Mays). Remarkable for a first time head coach initially labeled a meathead by many analysts. @Lions @PrideOfDetroit

[Stephen Rickard @SteveRickard56]

@austinfaulkner_ @uSTADIUM 3 in the top 12 — incredible.

[Stephen Rickard @SteveRickard56]

Help me out understanding why Kayode Awosika doesn’t get more love when thinking about the 2024 OL back-ups. Wasn’t he the first option the coaches turned to when Jonah got hurt? Were there complaints about his play in the SF game? @erikschlitt @PrideOfDetroit @Lions

[Stephen Rickard @SteveRickard56]

I believe the Lions now have 4 players under contract with Tongan origins — Giovanni Manu, Sione Vaki, Halapoulivaati Vaitai and Netane Muti. Tonga has just about the same population as Dearborn. @Lions @PrideOfDetroit
