@jockneyjoe Joe I’m still contactable through email and text. I’m just cleaning this social media crap up. Taking lots of people off so don’t take it personal.
Three years ago I nominated @jeremycorbyn for the @UKLabour leadership. I was proud to do so again in 2016 and I am proud to stand in solidarity with him and my colleagues @johnmcdonnellMP, @HackneyAbbott and others campaigning for peace and justice #WeAreCorbyn
#WeAreCorbyn I am proud to stand in absolute solidarity with my comrade and friend, Jeremy Corbyn, who has stood with me and so many others for decades in campaigns for peace, justice and against all forms of oppression and discrimination.
When my dad was sacked alongside 500 Liverpool dockers for refusing to cross a picket line, Jeremy Corbyn backed our struggle. Today, I back him.
The people I represent want a socialist Labour Government to transform society for the many, not the few. #WeAreCorbyn
@christyl_tipps @SteveHedley3@SW_Railway@RMTunion That’s just one of the very many reasons we say a guard is essential on all trains, it’s not just about safety of the train, it’s about safety of the public, never was about money!
Today, Tory MPs are going with the "Corbyn is evil as he shared a platform with....." theme.
So as they decided to bring this up, here is a set of people they have shared a platform with.
Jules again it’s unfortunate but it can be stopped. What’s brought about these strikes are the proposals by the company’s, supported by the government, withdrawal of those proposals and the strikes stop, talks start! We don’t have it in our power to withdraw the proposals !
If they don’t start investing in our own shipbuilding and seafaring soon, we are going to lose 2 of the oldest traditional skills this country knows ! Been warning for years. Retaining the skills is vital for our future!
Absolutely spot on John, these vessels will be used in our country’s name why shouldn’t they be built here. More importantly it’s Uk tax payers money that’s being used, so at the same time it should be keeping jobs in the industry here in this country!
Failure to place these shipbuilding contracts in UK will put 6500 jobs at risk and will add to the undermining of the shipbuilding industry in this country. It epitomises this Conservative government’s short term view & neglect of British industry. https://t.co/pxG5JxcLOi
Furthermore, I’m not a railway person myself, former Seafarer actually. However I do know what this dispute is about and fully understand it, particularly as I use trains quite a bit myself I have also had to suffer disruption, so whilst sympathetic with members also public
I respond personally and politely I hope, it’s no good me trying to make my point to you and being nasty with it. You are a member of the public, a human being and like me and those people on strike you have an opinion.

I’ve never in my life screwed anyone over, so I can see where your coming from. But these lads and lasses aren’t trying that either, they are losing money being on strike and that’s never easy, so spare a thought !
Absolutely disgusted with the behaviour of the @RMTunion with regards to #SWRStrike I'm working every single one of their strike days and have no clue how I'm supposed to get to work. I notice they've picked predominantly Friday and Saturdays for some relaxing summer weekends.
It’s very unfortunate about the person on crutches suffering and others like them. It’s never our intention to see anyone suffer, our members and their families suffer everyday they take action.
You are correct, it used to be possible so easily to call of strike days at short notice. Nowadays the anti trade union laws complicate matters that you are almost forced to stick with what you have given notice that your doing.
