I wrote a memoir, The Bootle Boy. Leading character is Rupert Murdoch. I worked with Rupert 50 years and, love or hate him, he’s an authentic colossus. Complicated, too. As I write “He could be hands-off or autocratic charming or irascible forgiving or fierce and sometimes just a comprehensive pain” More excerpts https://t.co/9EHDF2xaNR Buy https://t.co/kKOjfUh5b5
@dfds_uk Thank you - hope I can send in some constructive feedback. Shouldn’t and didn’t need to take so long… finally on board, lovely boat and friendly staff
@seanp306 @RichTravBaker @Halfa1965 Have to agree; can’t get excited by this WC- sad… so much wrong…
Hope all well (Keith, know it’s a way but have a trip to Cardiff on Wednesday)
@AvantiWestCoast Thanks: odd too, staff said there were passengers on the train - don’t know how they found out, so it must have been known what platform - we were just told to wait until announced. v few visible staff to help customers needing info. I saw it had left @nationalrailenq app!
@AvantiWestCoast well done - you sent out the 7.23 from Euston without telling passengers what platform! Booked on that train- will it be valid on the next to Birmingham (8.22?)
@ChrisMasonBBC@LondonCityAir@TheShardLondon Great pics and views: including the last one - Royal Wharf, Shooters Hill (water tower just in shot), Royal wharf in foreground and Charlton (Sainsbury’s storage warehouse v prominent (!) & the Valley…) thanks for sharing…
