@joeg03_ It’s quite simple - carrying ANY blade for ANY reason is illegal. End of. If you religion/faith is THAT important you need to follow it to the absolute letter, there are countries where that is embraced and encouraged. It shouldn’t be forced on, or granted an exemption in the UK

@joeg03_ @JohnDavid30932 Yes Sikh & Muslims are very different and conflating them shows a lack of knowledge/intelligence BUT the sentiment is valid. If you want to carry out the practices demanded by those religions, there are countries where it’s embraced, encouraged and lauded.

Second, what happened in the past, although it affects the present, that doesn’t mean you can justify violence today in the name of past atrocities. @FabrizioRomano All these ‘fans’ saying it’s a bad decision….its a cut throat business. His 1st season was essentially a gimme taking over from Klopp, but his 2nd was with his players, his style was appalling, he didn’t manage well under pressure & was found wanting in his press conferences too

@bodenknights The speed it travels I’d say it’s head, & there’s angles where the hand looks to be behind/at the side….IMO its not a pen, it wasn’t given on-field & it’s certainly not a clear & obvious error + whilst I’m all for quick VAR checks, 20 seconds for something so critical is a joke

@bodenknights The handball rule is a shambles - his arm was barely away from his side and the ball also deflected off his thigh onto his arm. That’s never a penalty in a million years. Intent/deliberate/hand to ball type wording needs to be re-introduced
