A great moment for Zimbabwe's athletics team last night, winning gold in Accra in the men's 4x400m relay, only the second time ever for Zim to take gold at the African Athletics Championships after winning gold in the same event in Brazzaville in 2004.
An entertaining derby, two very debatable penalties, but CAPS deserved their 2-1 win over Dynamos. The biggest crowd I’ve seen at Rufaro Stadium in years. Ishmael Wadi outstanding, scoring CAPS' opener. Dynamos with Kasondo late penalty, Kudzai Chigwida with winner from the spot.
Sensational! The Zimbabwe 4x400m men’s relay team has qualified for next year’s World Championships, after a brilliant run at the World Relays in Botswana. Dennis Hove, Leeford Zuze, Gerren Muwishi and Thandazani Ndlovu shattered the national record, running 2:59.01 in the heats.
A goalless draw between Scottland and Dynamos but a good game with a big crowd for a midweek match. Scottland had the best of the possession and the chances, Dynamos did well to grind out a draw. Knowledge Musona a joy to watch for Scottland.
Big midweek match underway at Rufaro Stadium, Scottland hosting Dynamos. Knowledge and Walter Musona both start for Scottland. Wisdom Mutasa and Stanley Billiat starting for Dynamos.
Saturday’s @EcobankZW Legends Night was exceptional, one of the best shows, with InTotal Band performing hits of the 80s and 90s. Rehearsed to perfection, a full house. Got to meet the legendary Cool Crooners and Jeys Marabini. I wore a shirt and cap that I bought in 1984!
At the draw in Harare for 2026 CAF African Schools Football Championship, first time that Zimbabwe will host a continental finals. Games start on Monday, tough draws for Zimbabwe. Stars here include Esrom Nyandoro, Amanda Dhlamini, former Sundowns coach Cavin Johnson #ASFC26
It wasn’t pretty this time, but the Warriors got the job done with an 88th-minute own goal resulting from sub Junior Zindoga’s cross in the final of the Mukuru Four Nations Tournament, against a Zambia side with mostly U23 players.
Zimbabwe's Paralympic legend Elliot Mujaji has completed his 16-day walk from Bulawayo to Harare, with six others, with the aim of raising $1m to build a sports complex in Zvishavane. More details on Facebook page "Elliot Mujaji Walk of Hope".
A comfortable 3-0 win for the Warriors, Bill Antonio shining with a goal and two assists in the first half. Mongameli Tshuma scoring on debut, Gerald Takwara good in defence, and other encouraging performances against weak opposition, including Elvis Chipezeze with a penalty save
Last night's #EverywhereTour show in Harare with Gospel stars Naomi Raine and Todd Galberth was amazing, one of the best. Super performances too from Janet Manyowa, the Cherayis, Unveiled and Cleo Arie.
We are live @starfmzimbabwe at Rufaro Stadium for the Castle Challenge Cup, good atmosphere as Scottland play Dynamos in the curtain-raiser ahead of the start of the season next weekend.
In 30 years of watching Zimbabwe cricket, I’d have to say that this is the best run of performances that I’ve seen from the Chevrons, with these 3 victories in a row. There were 3 wins – not consecutive - at the 1999 World Cup. Now a chance for more wins in Super 8, superb stuff.
It's our 30th wedding anniversary today! Celebrating in style on a cruise ship from Durban, currently at Pomene Island in Mozambique, an amazing experience. 30 years of joyous and faithful marriage for us, God has brought us this far! One tip is to always put your partner first.
